5 Lakes Kennel Club and Continental Kennel Club had the great privilege to go to Michigan for a Canine Fun Day on July 15 & 16. Many dog owners came out to learn some great competition training tips in Agility, Obedience, Conformation and Junior Handler. Then they were able to test their knowledge on the Agility course. On Sunday, a weight pulling demonstration was followed by a Fun Pull. There were a few dogs new to the sport that really showed their talent for Weight Pulling, including a little Boston terrier who pulled close to 200 lbs! All around, it was a great weekend, and we can’t wait to do it again. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event, the spectators, our sponsors, and to Aleidon Elementary for allowing us the use of their school grounds for the event.
